OUR STORY
Like many people these days, I found myself spending more and more time behind screens, with less room for some of the things that make life feel rich and meaningful: creativity, presence, and human connection. Over the years, my path moved through both creativity and wellness. I ran a handmade jewelry business and loved the process of turning ideas into something tangible, as well as the conversations, relationships, and sense of community that came with it. Later, I trained and worked as a hypnotherapist, an experience that deepened my appreciation for wellness and the many ways people heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves. As I began building my own practice, I experienced firsthand how much the right environment can matter. A warm and welcoming wellness space opened its doors to me with generosity, trust, and kindness. The Living Room grew from those experiences and from a simple desire: to create the kind of place where people can gather, create, learn, heal, and reconnect. One of the things that first drew me to this beautiful Victorian was discovering that it had once been home to Craigslist's early headquarters. I loved the idea that this place had already been bringing people together through ideas and community, and that it could begin a new chapter centered on wellness, creativity, and human connection. I hope it becomes a place where you feel welcome, supported, and at home. – Emeline
